Bag Recommendations by Device
Kindle Basic (6" screen)
The most compact Kindle is also the easiest to bag. Almost any Hello Clio belt bag will fit it with room to spare.
- Best fit: The Double Scoop eReader Belt Bag — the extra space means room for a slim wallet or small notebook alongside your device
- Also works: The Mini Kindle Backpack if you want a hands-free option with more carrying capacity
Kindle Paperwhite (6.8" screen) — Most Popular
The Paperwhite is the device Hello Clio bags were designed around. Every belt bag in our lineup fits it precisely.
- Best fit: The Double Scoop eReader Belt Bag — snug, secure, and purpose-built for this device
- Want more room? The Arlo Kindle Backpack fits the Paperwhite plus a physical book, charger, and more
- Going minimal? The Mini Kindle Backpack is a compact backpack option that still fits the Paperwhite comfortably

Kindle Oasis (7" screen, asymmetrical)
The Oasis's asymmetrical shape — wider on the grip side — means you want a bag with a soft, unstructured interior that accommodates the irregular footprint without pressure on the screen.
- Best fit: The Double Scoop eReader Belt Bag — the soft lining cradles the Oasis's shape without stress points
- For heavier carry: The Arlo Kindle Backpack gives the Oasis room to breathe alongside your other essentials
Kindle Scribe (10.2" screen)
The Scribe is a different category of device — closer to an iPad than a traditional e-reader. Belt bags are not the right tool here. You need structure, padding, and real interior space.
- Best fit: The Arlo Kindle Backpack — designed for readers who carry more, with a padded interior that protects the Scribe's large screen
- Traveling light? The Mini Kindle Backpack fits the Scribe with minimal bulk for shorter outings
A Note on Cases
If you use a Kindle case (especially a folio-style case), add approximately 0.25"–0.5" to each dimension when checking bag fit. Most Hello Clio bags accommodate a cased Paperwhite or Oasis without issue; the Scribe with a folio case is best served by the Arlo.
